Air Import Specialist

Looking for: Minimum EDU is a High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor's Degree preferred. At least 1+ years of recent office (customer service or data entry) up to 5 years. Logistics experience preferred Microsoft Office Proficient. Customer-oriented mindset. Proactive/go-getter attitude. Hours: Monday through Friday 8 am - 5 pm or 9 am - 6 pm; Must be open to overtime intermittently Customer service - updating customers on their shipment status and following up until the shipment is delivered. This includes taking care of customers daily tracking reports as well as updating POD in UFS. Also, compliant with the provided SOP per customer. -Open BB Consolidation in UFS and send arrival notices to customs brokers for those assigned airlines. Also, confirm MAWBs in UFS which you opened. -Create delivery orders and pass to the Dispatch team. Once dispatched, monitor delivery status and update POD -Communicate with airlines, warehouses and other vendors to get updated or give instructions. -Take care of hot sheet and airline nomination. Includes communication with the airline or warehouse. -Email monitoring and responses - it is required to monitor and reply to emails that were sent to you. If it was not meant for you, required to forward the email to the correct staff member. -Billing if needed for larger customers -Escalation if needed in instances such as damages, delays, missing items, or any type of complaints from customers.
