Job Title: Jr. SQL Developer Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of our Rocky Hill, CT Elevance Health PulsePoint location. The Jr. SQL Developer position reports to the Manager of Data Analytics and Reporting, and will utilize internal and external data to produce reports or tables used by QM to provide analytic support to the CT Engagement Center in a cross-departmental collaboration with those who regularly interact with and influence HUSKY Health members. They have expertise in spec development, coding, quality checking, validating, analyzing, and visualizing data that drives results, encourages strategic decision making, improves quality outcomes, and provides answers to population health questions. How you will make an impact: Participate in development, maintenance, and reporting in the Quality Management Project Plan, the CT Engagement Center Performance Targets, PAR Program profiles and other contractual obligations. Programs and writes queries and reports. Establishes knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, and data integrity issues. May be involved with new development of standardized reporting using the data warehouse, in addition to ad hoc reports. Ensures production reports are accurate and delivered in a timely manner Provides timely response and resolution of emergency production questions, issues, and defects. Adheres to production support and implementation processes. Ensures production environment stability. Provides analytical services for business data needs and makes recommendations for viable solutions. Addresses data integrity issues as they arise. Troubleshoots data issues, validates result sets, recommends and implements process improvements. Effectively communicates with customers to elicit, capture, develop, and implement customer requirements. Documents production process flows. Displays a positive, constructive, and helpful demeanor to assist team members and offer suggestions that improve processes, culture or working environment. Performs special projects and other duties as assigned and required. Minimum Requirements: Requires a BS/BA degree and related analytical experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences: Oracle & SQL experience strongly preferred. Skilled in writing SQL queries, procedures, and functions strongly preferred.
