Job Details
Duties:
• Performs cardiac and various MRI procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative.
• The technologist will produce and evaluate MRI images for technical quality, correctly identifies images and patients, and effectively use judgment for protocols and procedures.
• Responsible for the proper use of the RIS (scheduling exams, patient tracking, dicom image management, proper completion of exams).
• Responsible for all other equipment used in MR (e.g., monitoring equipment, stereotactic biopsy equipment, and any other devices used in MRI).
• Adheres to St. Francis Hospital and departmental policies and procedures and JCAHO/ regulatory agency requirements. Demonstrates and promotes service excellence at all times.
Requirements:
• NYS radiographer's license
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
• Knowledge and working experience in Cardiac MRI for at least one year required.
Salary Range
USD $50.00 - USD $63.00 /Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and position location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
