We are currently in search of a full-time structural engineer with a minimum of 4 years' experience in structural design, preferably holding a Professional Engineer (PE) license or actively working toward licensure. Our office is situated on the western side of Atlanta, in the Powder Springs area.

Key Duties:

  • Engage in the structural design of diverse building structures, encompassing steel, wood, masonry, and concrete.
  • Produce construction documents using Revit, including plans and specifications.
  • Assess project documents to ensure alignment with project standards and specifications before issuance.
  • Conduct on-site visits for new construction inspections and examine existing conditions for renovation projects.
  • Collaborate with clients and mentor fellow team members.
  • Review shop drawings.
  • Oversee multiple concurrent projects.
  • Provide guidance to drafters and junior engineers to meet project requirements.
  • Perform peer reviews of engineering design calculations.
  • Contribute to the development of new project proposals by outlining the scope of work and providing cost estimates.
  • Execute projects with a strong emphasis on quality, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience (candidates with less experience may be considered if they possess robust building design expertise).
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Proficiency in building codes and standards, including ASCE, ACI, AISC, IBC, and NDS.
  • Familiarity with software such as Revit, Risa, RAM, Enercalc, and MS Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
