We provide treatment for traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neuro or complex ortho diagnoses in the most functional setting there is - a person's own home and community.

We are looking for Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors who want to provide truly patient-centered care in Denver, CO, and surrounding areas - with PRN positions available. Our interdisciplinary teams create integrated treatment plans that are practiced in patients' homes and communities. Our therapists are creative in their approach and incorporate a variety of activities to ignite interest while addressing functional goals. This evidence-based approach results in durable outcomes.

Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:

The Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor is a member of the interdisciplinary team who coordinates the psychosocial component of a patient's treatment plan. The Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor will assess the patient and family's coping abilities, adjustment to disability, behavior, and relationships, and provide necessary counseling, support, education, and resources to the patient and care partners.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Master's degree or higher in professional counseling or related field from an accredited college/university consisting of 48 graduate semester hours. Completion of specific coursework and a 300-lock-hour supervised practicum with at least 100 hours of direct client contact.
  • Licensure: Appropriate Licensure in the state of residence
  • Experience: Experience with adults with acquired brain injury, behavioral intervention, cognitive rehabilitation, staff training, and computer literacy.
  • Physical Requirements: Requires ability to assist patients confined to wheelchairs and who utilize assistive devices.
  • Initial and annual TB screening
  • Criminal Record check and clearance
  • Driving record check and clearance, as needed
