Position Summary: This position is central to the management and execution of our Workforce Analytics and Technology Solutions support services-the business unit that leverages proprietary, cloud-based SaaS tools pioneered and designed to respond to the automation demands of tomorrow's HR and CR organizations.

As a member of the team the Product Owner supports various projects in addition to managing the requirements gathering, implementation and technical operations of multiple Workforce Solutions applications across client accounts. Critical components of this position include supporting the development and delivery and operations and maintenance of applications. The Product Owner will also support the ongoing management and communications of the development staff and other partners working in collaboration to deliver SaaS applications on time and on budget to various Federal Sector Clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordination with the vendor assisting with public cloud management for GovStrive's SaaS solutions (Azure SQL, App Services, Application Insights)
  • Complete various setup, configuration, and monitoring tasks within the systems, for example setting up users using Microsoft SQL
  • Manage and administer software utilized within Workforce Solutions to support the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Manage the GovStrive Kanban board as part of our agile project management framework for application development and proactively engage development resources to manage activities for development, project schedules, and priorities.
Your ability:to navigate high stake, critical components-the development, delivery, and operations and maintenance of applications-that define us as an innovative Provider of proprietary, cloud-based SaaS tools across the federal landscape will be utilized in executing these core functions:
  • Articulate and convey the value of GovStrive's SaaS solution offerings to senior level Federal resources and potential business partners
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
  • Sustain client satisfaction within the end-to-end implementation process and after
  • Ensure a high quality of services delivered to assigned clients, lead the delivery of client implementations

  • Manage and deliver services and solutions required to meet implementation goals for multiple clients in a fast-paced environment
  • Oversee requirements meetings weighing multiple clients' priorities and convert business requirements into technical requirements

Your Vision: to lead will be sharpened through the core duties of the Product Owner-those that task you to support the ongoing management and communications of the development staff and other partners working in collaboration to deliver SaaS applications on time and on budget; and through the groundbreaking delivery, refinement and maturity of GovStrive's SaaS application offerings and the exponential growth of GovStrive's footprint. You will-
  • Operate as a supervisor for employees, providing coaching, mentorship, and career development; conducting job appraisals; delivering feedback; enforcing policies and procedures; and approving leave and schedules.
  • Oversee the helpdesk process for the applications and promptly coordinate action for any customer support requests and expedite resolution internally
  • Communicate with executive leadership internally and at that client site on status of implementation and deliverables
  • Provide product demonstrations as required
  • Develop and implement internal processes and procedures as designated
  • Assist in the development of proposals
Requirements: You bring the right stuff, to the right place, at the right time.
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (5+ years)
  • An understanding of the Administration of .NET/Microsoft SQL Server SaaS applications and application architecture
  • Demonstrated project coordination/project management experience
  • A Thorough knowledge of the software development lifecycle process
  • The talent to share results, insights, and best practices across the organization, demonstrating excellent oral and written communication skills
  • The plus, of a demonstrated knowledge of Federal HR Processes
  • A US Citizenship
