Requirements

Brickman's is the main restaurant of the property and serves both St. Mark Golf Club and the Lakehouse Hotel. You will be responsible for the overall cleanliness and organization of the dining areas, along with serving food from kitchen to table and service guests while dining. You will also be responsible for putting together and delivering In-Room Dining orders. You must be able to provide exceptional customer service and upsell our offerings during the guests' dining experience. The duties of a Busser/Food Runner include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Responsible for maintaining the dining area; pre-bussing and bussing all tables, keeping dining rooms clean and orderly.
  • Assist the team with clearing and resetting tables while maintaining very high sanitation standards, filling water glasses, polishing silver and glassware.
  • Familiar with all menus, able to explain and describe each item. Serve all food and drinks to guests correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and serve coffee drinks to guests.
  • Deliver In-Room Dining orders to hotel guests at their rooms in a timely manner.
  • Greet guests in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
  • Maintaining a positive demeanor.
  • Become familiar with all returning guests and knowing their special requests.
  • Be very proficient in multi-tasking and general cleaning.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules and jobs to reflect the business needs of the company.

Core Competencies/Requirements
  • At least 6 months Front of House experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to completely answer food related questions from guests
  • Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
  • Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification
