They should have a Minimum five years UX/UI design experience

This front-end worker under the guidance of project manager, business users and technical architects will be responsible for designing responsive and accessible modern web applications. They will create the prototype and develop the style sheets and provide the required components for application developers.

They should have a strong understanding of UX/UI design principles and best practices and experience in creating wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to communicate design concepts. They should be skilled in the use of Figma, Adobe XD, or related UX mockup and prototyping software. They should have knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility guidelines and experience in designing accessible interfaces. They should be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and product managers. They should be proficient in in HTML, CSS, MUI, and JavaScript.

III. TERMS OF SERVICE

Services are expected to start 12/02/2024 and are expected to complete by 06/30/2025. Total estimated hours per Candidate shall not exceed 960 hours. This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing.

IV. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION

Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed.

The primary work location(s) will be at 4200 Smith School Road Austin Texas 78744. The working position is Hybrid - On Site and Telework.

The candidate has to be on-site (location: Texas Parks and Wildlife headquarters, IT Division, 4200 Smith School Road, Austin, Texas 78744) minimum of twice a week. Local candidates only.
