Exciting Career Opportunity for Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner in Midland- Odessa Area

Nova Medical Centers began as a single facility formed 28 years ago in Texas, to provide the highest level of healthcare to patients suffering from musculoskeletal injuries. Currently, Nova treats more than 40,000 injuries and sees more than a million patient visits in 12 months. Nova operates 63 occupational medicine facilities across Georgia, Indiana, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin.  Nova Medical Centers successfully operates outpatient acute injury care clinics in an Occupational Medicine setting. Services include minor work injury care, NO chronic pain management We offer a fully integrated EMR system with complete automation that provides the Medical Director with the opportunity to focus on delivering high quality patient care with minimal administrative duties required of the provider.  Successful candidates come from various medical backgrounds including UC, ED, FP, ER, IM or Ortho.

Responsibilities
  • Performs medical assessments of Center patients
  • Establishes and monitors a medically appropriate level of care for Center patients
  • Maintain clinical core competency
  • Work with Chief Medical Officer and Regional Medical Directors to ensure operations are consistent with medical policy and professional standards of Nova Medical Centers
  • Collaboration with center leadership team to positively impact quality of care, client and patient satisfaction and center performance
Qualifications

  • Current State Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioners Licensure
  • Eagerness and ability to become a Practice Builder
  • Current DEA licensure. 
  • State Controlled Substance Licensure, if required by State Law
  • Experienced in UC, ER, FP, ER, IM. Ortho experience preferred
  • Experience/ability to suture
  • Experience/ ability to read x-rays and ability to diagnose Ortho related injuries
  • Authorized to work in the USA
  • Ability to work in a cooperative, multidiscipline setting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Good judgment, dependability and integrity
