Genesis10 is seeking an Application Developer for a twelve-month contract possible contract to hire position at our financial services client in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a hybrid role requiring up to 3 days onsite.

The ideal candidate is a mid to senior Full Stack Java Developer with experience using automated testing tools such as Selenium, Fitness, Cucumber or the like. SCRUM and Agile experience is highly desired. Angular 14 and above would be a bonus.

Summary and responsibilities
  • Lead Developer provides application software development services or technical support in situations of moderate complexity. May also be responsible for requirements gathering and BRD/SRD preparation. Has thorough knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Conducts reviews of the test Plan and test Data. Writes new programs of moderate complexity and scope, working with basic application system designs and specifications, utilizing our client's standard development methodology, procedures and techniques.
  • Designs and codes programs, and creates test transactions and runs tests to find errors and revise programs. Prepares the final and detailed versions of system modification requirements, ensures turnovers are done on time and correctly. Interfaces with architects to design, code, test and implement application programs.
  • Conducts analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems. Proposes innovative, creative technology solutions. Contributes to the achievement of related teams' objectives.
Required skills
  • 5+ years of experience in Angular Development (Angular 18)
  • Experienced in CSS/SCSS
  • Basic use of Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, Spring REST, Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Hibernate
  • GIT CICD
  • Webservices, REST, SOAP, Swagger
  • Must be knowledgeable about cross-platform interoperability (multiple platforms i.e. NT, Intranet, etc.), major tools in a toolkit for a specific platform and features of multiple toolkits
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
  • Experience working in a team run by the Agile Methodology
