Rush University System for Health (RUSH) , a national leader in outstanding patient care, education, research, community partnerships and empowering a new generation of health care providers, invites applications for the position of Epilepsy Physician at our new North & Harlem Outpatient Center in Chicago.
The Epilepsy Center at Rush has a multidisciplinary team that includes epileptologists, neuropsychologists, physiologists, pediatric and adult neurosurgeons, clinical nurse specialists and social workers. The program offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services and provides patients with a full range of medical and surgical treatment options, including investigative therapies and approaches that are not widely available. Patients who require inpatient treatment receive care on a specialized neurological unit with staff specifically trained in neurosurgical and neurological care.
Qualified candidates must be graduates from an ACGME-accredited Neurology residency and have completed fellowship training in Epilepsy and/or Clinical Neurophysiology. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Neurology. Additional certification by the American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology is desirable. Research opportunities and teaching with a faculty appointment at Rush University may be available for consideration.
The brand new 60,000-square-foot RUSH outpatient center at North & Harlem Avenues in Chicago, set to open in July 2025, is part of RUSH’s commitment to delivering the best care available, close to home at locations across the Chicago area. Rush North & Harlem will significantly expand access to Rush primary and specialty care for northwest Chicago and suburban patients in near west communities like Oak Park, River Forest and Elmwood Park, by offering some of the most sought-after healthcare services — including nationally ranked specialties like neurology and cardiology. The new center is another example of how RUSH is working to deliver the best care and outcomes across the Chicago area and Northwest Indiana.
