Our client is a leading non-profit social services provider is looking for an Clinician - LSW

Schedule: Full Time, Mon-Fri
Location: Rockaway, NJ

Summary:
This clinical position is for the Family Stabilization Program (FSP) contracted through the Division of Child Protection and Permanency.
Morris County Family Stabilization Program (FSP) collaborates exclusively with DCP&P involved families to provide family and individual therapy for a period of 9-12 months or as long as DCP&P is open with the family.
The population serviced through FSP includes children and youth (ages 0-18), and their parents/caregivers, in addition to adult individuals (18 ).
All biological and/or resource parent homes have experienced child abuse/neglect, trauma, adoption, and attachment presenting concerns and are recommended to FSP for long-term therapy services.

Duties and Responsibilities:
FSP Clinician must be able to provide services to English Speaking families and must be proficient in speaking, reading and writing in English.
Bilingual Spanish speaking proficiency is preferred in order to services Morris County's Spanish speaking families with Division involvement.
Staff member will hold a case load based on contractual requirements, and is responsible for meeting with families weekly, depending on their individual needs.
FSP clinician may be asked to assist with facilitation of groups if needed.
FSP clinician is responsible for maintaining documentation according to program expectations for all assigned families.
FSP clinician must be able to travel throughout Morris County as needed.
On-call responsibilities on a rotation basis are also part of this position.
Many of the sessions take place in the homes of Morris County families as a result of no transportation or clinical recommendations for in-home services.
FSP Clinician is responsible to collaborate with DCP&P and other community partners and collaterals to provide a strength- based, system-focused service to all FSP involved families.

REQUIREMENTS:
The qualifications for the position include but are not limited to:
MA/MSW with an active professional license LAC/LPC/LSW/LCSW, as well as experience in working with children and families in the mental health field is preferred.
Evening availability is a must for sessions.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and assessment skills.
Excellent writing skills and computer/EHR literate. Must be culturally sensitive to work with diverse populations and fluency in Spanish/English languages is required.
Valid NJ driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a criminal background check.
