We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who will be responsible for providing a comprehensive range of occupational therapy services. This includes conducting initial assessments, creating personalized treatment plans, delivering therapeutic interventions, assessing patient response to treatment, and documenting the progress of patient care. They will also provide education to patients and their families, participate in team meetings, and act as a resource for other team members. Additionally, they will contribute to program development, quality improvement, problem-solving, productivity enhancement, and program safety activities. Maintaining licenses/certifications and engaging in continuing education/professional development activities are also crucial aspects of their role.
Duties:
-Conduct initial assessments.
-Develop treatment plans.
-Provide therapeutic interventions.
-Evaluate patient response to treatment.
-Document the course of patient care
-Provide patient and family education on tasks and resources to support ongoing functional independence.
-Function as a resource for team members and provide in-service/cross-training on occupational therapy knowledge and skills.
-Contribute to the development of improved efficiency and productivity in clinical and administrative program functions.
-Participate in program quality management activities.
- Participate in survey preparation activities and collect quality review data.
-Participate in continuing education/professional development activities.
