Who we are

Abilene Veterinary Clinic is seeking a friendly and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for animals, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. As the first point of contact for our clients, the Veterinary Receptionist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.

Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and their pets with a warm and friendly demeanor
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
• Check-in and check-out clients and their pets
• Collect payments and process invoices
• Maintain accurate records and files
• Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a customer service role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in basic computer skills
• Passion for animals and their well-being

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel
