Job Description

PRIMARY DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team. As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that meet our clients' needs. You should have a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies and be able to work collaboratively within a team.

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Designs, develops, tests, and deploys web applications using both front-end and back-end technologies
  • Creates and maintains database schemas, models, and queries
  • Implements user authentication and authorization systems
  • Collaborates with UI/UX designers to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality
  • Troubleshoots and debugs issues across the application stack
  • Optimizes applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Stays updated with industry trends and best practices to suggest improvements and innovative solutions
Requirements

MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with knowledge of a combination of the following technologies:
    • Front-end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js
    • Back-end: Node.js, Express, Python, Ruby on Rails, or similar
    • Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar
  • Understanding of RESTful API design and development
  • Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
DESIRED SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture
  • Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks and continuous integration practices
  • Proficiency in additional programming languages such as Java, C#, PHP, or Python
  • Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
  • Experience with real-time communication technologies like Channels, Socket.io, or Pusher.
  • Familiarity with mapping libraries such as Leaflet.js, ArcGIS, or Mapbox GL JS.
  • Expertise in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of email integration and handling within web applications.
  • Experience with version control using Git.
  • Familiarity with containerization and deployment using Docker.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
  • Strong understanding of web security best practices.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn about new technologies and tools.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data synchronization concepts is a plus.
