TransCore-Amtech Systems (AMS), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a full-time Material Review Board (MRB) Coordinator to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Job Summary: Under the general direction of the Quality Assurance Manager, the Material Review Board (MRB) Coordinator is responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and sustaining systemic parameters to streamline and maximize the effectiveness of the MRB process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Lead the identification, processing, disposition, and communication of nonconforming material and associated MRB activities to ensure minimal impact to production schedules, and support material throughput through the facility.
  • Perform material movement transactions in the ERP system to identify and locate suspect or nonconforming material.
  • Perform stockroom and warehouse sweep activities to ensure accurate and comprehensive containment of suspect or nonconforming material.
  • Coordinate MRB review meetings and dispositions within a cross-function team to ensure the timely disposition and resolution of material
  • Monitor and track MRB information within spreadsheets and databases, as well as action item commitments and due dates, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely completion of commitments and activities while achieving high levels of quality performance.
  • Support manufacturing operations, including quality trending and data analysis, and assist with containment initiatives.
  • Evaluate and trend root causes of scrap material and work with manufacturing, engineering and supply chain to make systemic improvements to eliminate nonconformances.
  • Coordinate temporary deviation requests to allow use of alternate materials and processes to meet production demands.
  • Support additional quality assurance activities as assigned.
