Responsibilities

• Provide Nurse Case Managementand Nursing Delegation functions including 45-day on-site assessments,individual assessment of health status, evaluation of medication administrationdelivery system to include: Review of Medication Administration Record(s)(MARs) Client Medications, and Physician Medication Order Form(s) (PMOF's) forindividuals needing nursing delegation services.
  • On-call coverage for medical/nursing-related matters
  • Provide evaluation of competency of Certified Medication Technicians
  • New Member Assessments
  • Develop initial nursing evaluation and the nursing plan of care
  • Available to staff to answer questions concerning medical and/or medication issues
• Perform staff training and retraining as needed/requested
  • Consult with Physicians, Family members and or team members, and pharmacy personnel as
Needed/requested
  • Comply with the standards outlined in the Maryland State Board Nurse Practice Act
  • Compliance with the Health insurance Portability and Accountability Act
What you will need for this position:
  • You have a positive attitude and love working with people
  • A graduate of a state approved school of nursing.
  • Active RN license in MD
  • Delegating Nurse Certificate
  • Minimum of one year of experience in assisted living, hospice, home health, acute or long-term care environment.
