Overview As our Echo Technologist II at St. Joseph Health, you will help the Cardiologist in utilizing extensive knowledge of imaging techniques to successfully diagnose and treat the patient's condition, ensuring optimal care and outcomes. We have a Level III Trauma Center, the first Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Center, and the first accredited Chest Pain Center in the Brazos Valley. Responsibilities Provides a preliminary diagnostic report to physician and final preliminary tracing interpretation Operate echocardiography equipment to obtain and record two-dimensional and M-mode graphic representations of the heart Effectively communicated with all staff members and Cardiologist Prepares patients for diagnostic procedures to include taking vital signs and measurements, positioning patients and explaining procedure Qualifications Required Education and Experience Education: completion of Sonography Program Experience: 2 years echo experience Required Licensure and Certifications Active certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Vascular Sonographer. #LI-CHI #missioncritical #ImagingTexas Pay Range $26.38 - $38.26 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
