Input invoices in Accounts Payable for all inventory items, including matching invoices to the Purchase Orders and Receiving Documentation, as appropriate. Work with vendors to resolve purchase price and quantity variances between purchase orders and receiving reports and invoices. Reconcile all vendor memo (consignment) statements monthly promptly. Resolve any discrepancies in the vendor reconciliation directly with the vendor. Assist with receiving daily shipments and assigning them to the correct location. This includes verifying that the shipment is accurate based on the packing slip. Assist with distributing merchandise to stores as needed for weekly replenishment. Assist with placing Special Orders with the vendor and updating item costs when received. Provide ad hoc reporting as requested. Assist with requests from auditors for year-end audits. Special projects such as price changes, stock balancing, returns to vendors, merchandising, and other projects as needed.
