Perm - Physician - Laborist Palm Springs CA

Job Description:
- Responsibilities include delivery attendance, OB triage, patient evaluation/management, surgical assists, fetal monitoring and ER coverage
- MFM performs rounds and inpatient consults with high risk patients
- Practice attends about 60 deliveries per month
- 30-bed community Level-III NICU/newborns 23 weeks and above
- Affiliated maternal-fetal medicine and neonatology practice support
- 387-bed tertiary acute care facility and is the only Level I Trauma Center in Coachella Valley, serving more than 8,000 square miles of Southeastern California
- Teaching opportunities with fellows, residents and medical students
- Base compensation is BR4,000 - BR,500 (based on experience) with bonus potential (to be prorated @ BR/hour for less than full-time).- A full-time position is 7.5 24-hour in-house shifts/month = 2190 hours annually.
- Will consider someone who wants to work a minimum of 6 24-hourshifts/month (still benefit eligible). - Medical, Prescription, Dental and Vision

- Board Eligible/Board Certified in OB/GYN - REQUIRED
- CA license (or in process) - REQUIRED
- Laborist experience - PREFERRED
- Note any previous work experience with Mednax/Pediatrix - REQUIRED
