The Export Clerk will be responsible for moving freight, stock, supplies and other materials from one area to another, loading and unloading items on and off of trucks, shelves or shipping pallets. They are responsible for accurately packing orders, palletizing and preparing orders for shipment, as well as for a variety of general labor tasks. Export Clerk will interact with customers & vendors, inventory control, warehouse, shipping/receiving, expediting/logistics, maintaining records of incoming and outgoing shipments in ERP system.

Support import and export -Logistics documentation and customer service of operational goods. Manage Freight bookings and deliveries from various carriers.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Verifies information on packing slip with purchase order to confirm the accuracy of shipment.
  • Prepares and packages outgoing shipments using UPS, FedEx, and DHL-Import / export.
  • Shipping, data entry, billing, shipment tracking, and documentation
  • Prepares and packages products for outgoing shipments to customers / vendors.
  • Able to verify and meet customer specific packing requirements
  • Follow instructions of related QMS procedures and Work Instructions
  • Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Self-starter, good at prioritizing and determining time-sensitive tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Familiar with working with ERP systems (Epicor preferred)
  • Be able to multitask and prioritize
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Certified, or ability to be certified on all forklift equipment.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and performance-driven environment.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • UPS, FedEx, DHL experience is a plus.
  • International logistics experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to handle physical activity for long periods of time / Requires handling of objects that are up to 50 lbs.
