Description Assists the Pharmacist by filling physician orders for medications for oral, rectal, topical and injectable use; mixes IV admixture solutions as required using aseptic technique in the Glove Box; type labels, prepares and files charge slips and performs other related duties.
Requirements
Education: High School graduate or equivalent degree. Graduate of certified Pharmacy Technician training program preferred.
Experience: One (1) year related pharmacy experience and/or training preferred.
Specific Skills: Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
Knowledge of automated pharmacy systems is preferred.
IV Laminar Flow Hood or Glove Box intravenous preparation - or willingness to learn.
