Job Description
We're looking for a Registered Nurse to partner with our client facilities. We are looking for a nurse that is comfortable in assimilating to new facilities and new teams. Ideally, the candidate should be a responsible, gentle and well-trained professional who can provide exceptional nursing care with minimal supervision whilst following health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. The goal is to promote the patient's well-being by providing high quality nursing care.

Job Duties:

  • Evaluates assigned patients. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care
  • Assists physicians during examinations and procedures
  • Monitor patient's condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care.
  • Observe and interpret patient's symptoms and communicate them to physicians.
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
  • Perform routine procedures and fill in patient's charts.
  • Adjust and administer patient's medication(s) and provide treatments according to the physician's orders.
  • Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.).
  • Provide instant medical care in emergencies.
  • Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families.
Requirements
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited RN program. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Texas, or license with a compact state required upon hire
  • Certifications:
    • Approved Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
    • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
  • A minimum of two (2) years of RN experience in an acute care setting preferred
  • Charge experience a plus
