Position Overview
As an Autonomy System Operator, you will play a crucial role in the operation and monitoring of our cutting-edge autonomous systems. Your primary responsibilities will include remote operations, technical support, and customer communication to ensure the smooth and efficient deployment of our autonomous farming solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Remote Operations & Monitoring: Oversee and manage the operation of autonomous agricultural systems, ensuring optimal performance and addressing any issues in real-time.
- Customer Communication: Engage directly with customers to understand their specific needs regarding the deployment and operation of autonomy systems.
- Mission Configuration & Deployment: Set up, configure, and monitor autonomous missions based on customer requirements, ensuring successful execution.
- Technical Support: Provide light technical support to troubleshoot and resolve issues, coordinating with the service team as needed.
- Education: High school diploma, GED, or associate's degree required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer applications is essential.
- Experience: Familiarity with farming simulation software, such as Farm Simulator 19 or 22, is preferred.
- Location: Position is based in Ames, IA, with a 50/50 split between in-office and remote work. In-office presence is preferred, with flexibility for remote work as coordinated with your manager.
