CT Technologist (Fairfax - Prosperity Center) Take the next step in your healthcare career and join Fairfax Radiology Centers as a CTTechnologist at one of our patient centers in Fairfax, VA. $5,000 Sign-on Bonus available for those who are eligible. * This role is full-time (40 hours per week), shift: Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm. Responsibilities include: Image patients under the guidelines and standards set forth by FRC and regulatory agencies. Practice a high level of radiation safety including shielding patients, limiting repeat exposures, wearing film badge and other procedures. Obtain complete medical history on patient as required by department guidelines. Explain the procedure to the patient in a clear and concise manner the procedure and answer all reasonable questions. Requirements, Certifications, Licenses: Able to perform CT exams with or without contrast Must be experienced in administering injections Be able to take Vitals including Blood Pressure. Active RT (R) (ARRT) certification; prefer CT registered or equivalence in number of years of experience. Active Virginia RT license Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Prefer experience with GE scanners Benefits: FRC offers a competitive and comprehensive employee benefits package to eligible employees.
