Rotating (United States of America) Sentara is hiring a FLEXI/PRN Radiology Technologist at Advanced Imaging Center Belleharbour in Suffolk, VA

Shift/Hours: Part time with Rotating Shifts. Call is Required

Job Description:

Conducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include positioning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology, operation of radiation producing equipment, operation of the electronic Radiology systems and preparation of patientroom/equipment/medications.Phlebotomy competency for lab may be required for certain sites that do both Radiology and Lab.

Requirements:

  • Trade School Graduate - RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY
  • Registry eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT, must obtain ARRT registry within 180 days of hire.

Job Summary

Conducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include: positioning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology, operation of radiation producing equipment, operation of the electronic Radiology systems and preparation of patient room/equipment/medications.

Qualifications:

TS - Trade School Graduate (Required) ARRT Radiography(R) - Certifications - American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI Basic managerial experience of coordinating the work of others, Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems
