As an Industrial Sales Rep, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, identifying their unique needs, and providing them with innovative solutions that align with our company's core values. Who we are.KLINGER GPI has been established through the 2020 acquisition of West Texas based Gasket & Packings, Inc., and the 2023 merger with KLINGER's gasket manufacturing facility located in Houston, Texas. KLINGER GPI is well positioned to provide industrial facilities with a comprehensive range of fluid sealing products and services, through our 4 physical Texas locations. KLINGER GPI manufactures and supplies a comprehensive range of fluid sealing and control products; including static and dynamic sealing products, valves, instrumentations, expansion joints and hoses, fasteners, hydraulic bolt tightening equipment and supplementary MRO products. In addition, our accredited in-house and mobile facilities provide tool calibration and equipment repair services to suit any calibration schedule requirements.
What's your day like?As a Full Time Industrial Sales Rep at KLINGER GPI, you will play a vital role in maintaining and expanding our customer base in a defined geographic area. Your responsibilities will include not only maintaining key customer relationships but also proactively prospecting and developing strategies to attract new clients. What you need to be successfulTo be successful in the role of Full Time Industrial Sales Rep at KLINGER GPI, you will need a combination of skills and qualities. Firstly, proficiency in sales techniques, including prospecting and marketing, is crucial for expanding our customer base. Strong organizational skills are essential to manage multiple accounts effectively and ensure that client expectations are met. The ability to strategically plan and execute projects will enable you to identify opportunities for growth and develop effective sales strategies.
Being technically minded will allow you to understand and communicate complex industrial solutions to clients. A self-motivated and strong work ethic will drive your success in meeting and exceeding sales targets. Additionally, a valid driver's license, being 18 years or older, and a high school diploma or equivalent are required qualifications. Candidates must also pass a background check, as some customers require onsite visits.
