We are seeking CDL A Delivery Truck Operators who are flexible and enjoy multi-stop routes throughout the week. As a part of the US FOODS® family, you will have the opportunity to push your potential, grow, and enjoy the rewards that come with it. This position requires commuting to various assigned yards to begin your routes. Commute times may vary.

Schedule:

  • 1st Shift
  • Start times between 1am - 6am based on route assignment
  • Weekend work may be required
  • Routes may vary weekly
  • Commute time may differ based on the assignment

Compensation: The expected base rate for this role ranges from $29.41 to $32.68 per hour, depending on experience. This role also includes potential overtime compensation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional Customer Service.
  • Ensure timely delivery of customers' orders while maintaining productivity.
  • Unload products using a hand truck and place items in the designated customer storage area.
  • Perform repeated manual lifting of items up to 80 pounds.
  • Make frequent stops during your shift.
  • Deliver products in various weather conditions.
  • Confirm delivery of items with customers.
  • Collect payment when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Valid CDL Class A from your state of residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • A valid U.S. driver's license from your state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required.
  • No more than two traffic violations in the last two years; no DUI convictions in the last three years; no driver's license suspensions in the past three years.
  • Minimum of six months commercial driving experience required (or three-months in food and beverage delivery).
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
