Website Content Manager

Key Role:

Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of a major website for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Apply specific functional knowledge, including working or general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with content management and content creation
  • Experience with Drupal CMS capabilities
  • Experience managing website content creation workflow, ensuring consistency and accuracy across the site, including adhering to SEO, web standards, audience voice, and editorial guidelines such as spelling, grammar, casing, and brand use
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS, and basic SEO tools and best practices
  • Knowledge of content governance, including accessibility, 508 compliance, or data privacy regulations
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics for reporting site statistics to leadership
  • Ability to make data-driven recommendations to improve content performance and engagement
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to obtain a Security+ Certification before start date

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Teams, to manage content calendars and workflows
  • Knowledge of Jira
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams across the agency to maintain a cohesive and engaging web experience across the site
  • Ability to document website processes and procedures, continually seeking ways to improve team proficiency and contributing to the evolution of internal tools and workflow processes
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to determine the desired appearance and functionalities of web pages, including offering creative solutions for improving various areas of the website, future web pages, and upgrades
  • Ability to work 3 days a week on site in Arlington, VA

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
