Responsibilities:
- Physical Therapist will perform evaluations, establish treatment goals and plan for all residents requiring physical therapy services.
- Screens residents for appropriate equipment, i.e. prosthetic/orthotic appliances, wheelchairs, ambulation aids. Supervise
- Physical therapy assistants and work with a dynamic team.
- Provides skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist.
- Responds to requests for service by relaying information and referral to Registered Physical Therapist.
- Implements and modifies the patient's occupational therapy plan of treatment with PT supervision
- Monitors patient responses to treatments and modifies it during treatment sessions as necessary.
- Observe residents and write progress reports.
- The Physical Therapy Assistant will be responsible for documenting patient treatments, changes in condition and other pertinent information as required.
