Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of operational excellence. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and general maintenance of our facilities and equipment. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle a variety of maintenance tasks and troubleshoot issues to ensure our operations run smoothly.

Please note this position is hiring for 2nd shift

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of buildings and grounds, including general building maintenance, plumbing and electrical systems, cleaning, painting, parking lot, landscaping and lawn care, trash, and scrap removal.
  • Work with contractors / vendors to support building systems, power, water, air, etc.
  • Equipment repair and preventative maintenance which includes electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, consulting with equipment manufacturers, working with purchasing to order parts, clearing errors, testing of equipment.
  • Operates snow removal equipment to maintain parking lots and sidewalks.
  • Replaces worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts, in machines and other facility equipment such as trucks, golf carts, and fork trucks.
  • Assists other departments with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Must have proficient skills in using a variety of hand tools.
  • Familiar with electrical & mechanical systems
  • Familiar with HVAC systems
  • Familiar with hydraulic systems
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize tasks in a self-directed work environment and maintain elevated levels of productivity without direct supervision.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Able to work in a team environment and take direction.
  • Able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for entire shift.
  • Able to maintain balance, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, and wipe.

Education: Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
