Job Overview:

The ECOAT/PAINT LINE Hanger plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process by efficiently and accurately preparing items for the electrocoating (ECOAT) and painting processes. The hanger is responsible for ensuring that items are hung properly on the production line, adhering to quality standards and safety guidelines. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the production team to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow while meeting production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Hanging and Unhanging Items:

1. Properly hang items on the ECOAT/PAINT line, ensuring that they are securely fastened and correctly positioned for optimal coating/painting coverage.

a. Safely unhang items after the ECOAT/PAINT process is complete, ensuring no damage occurs during this process.

2. Quality Assurance:

a. Conduct visual inspections of items before hanging to identify any defects or imperfections that may affect the coating/painting process.

b. Verify the quality of the coating/painting after the process is complete and report any defects or inconsistencies.

3. Work Area Maintenance:

a. Keep the work area clean and organized, ensuring that equipment and tools are appropriately stored when not in use.

b. Follow proper waste disposal procedures and maintain a safe and hazard-free work environment.

4. Equipment Operation and Troubleshooting:

a. Operate ECOAT/PAINT line equipment effectively and efficiently.

b. Identify and troubleshoot minor issues with the equipment, and promptly report any major malfunctions to the maintenance team.

5. Adherence to Safety Guidelines:

a. Comply with all safety regulations and protocols while working on the production floor.

b. Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.

6. Collaboration and Communication:

a. Collaborate with other team members, such as painters, inspectors, and supervisors, to maintain a smooth production flow.

b. Communicate any production-related issues or concerns to the supervisor in a timely and effective manner.

Preferred qualifications:

Candidate must have some or all of the following Educational/Technical requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is typically required for this position.

• Vocational training or certification in manufacturing or a related field is a plus.

• Must have an experience in E-Coat, Powder Coat, Line Counting, Material Handling and Paint.

Preferred skills and abilities:

Candidate must have some or all of the following skills and abilities:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision.
