We'll count on the successful candidate to be responsible for the following: Providing technical leadership as a senior traffic engineer or project manager giving direction, and support for transportation projects. Mentoring, coaching, and developing team members. Serving as the primary technical point of contact for the client. Implementation of quality control processes. Pre-positioning for project pursuits and supporting proposal development. Leading coordination and communication of project requirements and schedule needs across disciplines. Developing scope of work and fees for projects. Identification and communication of technical risks associated with projects. Oversight of production work required to meet deliverable milestones. Identifying, developing, and communicating processes and tools to increase efficiency across team and department. Creating, improving, facilitating and teaching training courses to the project team and department. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications BS degree in Civil Engineering or related technical discipline required. Minimum of 7 years of Traffic Engineering experience, 10 years of experience preferred . PE license required, PTOE preferred. Knowledge of regulations of state and federal transportation agencies a must. Experience using HCS, VISSIM, Synchro/SIM Traffic and other software packages required. Strong oral and written communication skills, presentation skills and the ability to work in a team environment are musts. An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
