Job Description

Join our cutting-edge team as a Senior Software Developer / Team Lead and help us push the boundaries of what's possible with our systems. As a Senior Software Developer / Team Lead, you'll collaborate with our Operations team and work with other developers to create solutions and review code, and continuously learn and grow as part of your job. Responsibilities

What you will be doing
  • Leading a team of 3 to 4 developers; running daily standup, teaching development methodology, standards and basics of user satisfactions to junior developers.
  • You will be working to help design and implement migrating our applications to the cloud as well as help implementing a strategy for building new applications optimized to run as cloud native.
  • Working side by side with our Operations department to identify needs.
  • Working side by side with other Developers to create solutions, review code, and share knowledge.
  • Writing safe, scalable, and consistent JavaScript, Typescript, and C# code.
  • Writing performance-considerate SQL.
  • Learning as part of your job.
What you bring

What is nice to have
  • Experience with cloud environments
  • Knowledge about cloud computing
  • Knowledge about microservice and serverless architecture
  • Experience working with team members, both technical and non, to solve problems and understand requirements.
  • Diverse technical knowledge of Windows, and tools such as Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, or Sql Server Management Studio.
Required Skills
  • 1 year of team lead experience
  • Experience with Object Oriented Languages, like C#, Java, Python, C, or C++.
  • Experience with TSQL, or RDBMS technologies.
  • Experience with WebApi technologies.
  • Experience with a modern web based front-end framework, Angular preferred.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Planning and organizing, decision-making.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Flexibility in problem-solving and handling uncertainty, adapting, and changing as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and relational skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; sound judgment; initiative; and flexibility.
Education

High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Trade school or industry certification, college degree or equivalent work experience is nice to have.
