A health services network in New York City is currently seeking a seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join their growing teams in Manhattan and Queens.

About the Opportunity:

  • Assignment Length: 2 months
  • Schedule: Part-time (20 hours per week)
  • Patient Population: Adult & Pediatric I/DD (Ages 4+)
  • EMR: NextGen
Responsibilities:

The Physical Therapist (PT) will:
  • Evaluate the strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and posture of patients
  • Treat patients with disabilities, disorders, and injuries related to the evaluation findings
  • Utilize therapeutic devices and equipment to maintain or restore maximum performance
  • Plan, direct, and supervise patients, family, and/or significant others in the use of equipment and exercise regimens
  • Participate in patient communication and interdisciplinary care planning for individual needs
  • Document contemporaneously using electronic health records
  • Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • NYS Physical Therapist (PT) license
  • Solid assessment and documentation skills
Desired Skills:
  • Working knowledge of NextGen
