KENNEL TECHNICIAN- Part-time WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS needed for upscale, energetic, boarding facility in newer North Auburn veterinary clinic.
WE NEED SOMEONE WHO CAN WORK WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS and HOLIDAY BREAKS. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT THESE TIMES.
Duties include:
- Play with, feed, and care for dogs and cats
- Bathe dogs and assist with nail trims, etc.
- CLEAN kennels and maintain clean kennel and outdoor play areas
- Maintain organization of food boards and boarding arrivals/departures
- Take pictures for social media posts
- Clinic laundry (not extensive)
Ideal candidate is:
- An animal lover who enjoys spending time with dogs and cats
- Knowledgeable about dog and cat behavior and willing to learn
- Dependable, responsible, accountable
- Organized and attentive to details
- Able to communicate well with staff and clients
- Physically able to manage large dogs
- Friendly and has a happy, positive attitude
Work hours are approximately 7-9am and 4-6 pm weekends and holidays. MUST be able to work Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks $11 per hour. Schedule is typically every other weekend (possibly more, if desired). Possible weekdays during holiday breaks.
