An outpatient multispecialty ortho clinic is looking for a xray tech to be a part of the Downstate Team

Type: Contract
Schedule: Mon-Fri Hours: 8a-5
Location: Downstate

Job Description:
Perform diagnostic imaging including general x-ray, portables, fluoroscopy and all other applicable diagnostic exams.
Be familiar with all diagnostic equipment including portable and fluoroscopic equipment and the operating room.
Have the ability to produce high quality images efficiently regardless of volume. Performs exams in accordance with established protocols.
Demonstrate the ability to provide assistance to external and internal costumers, and provide excellent customer service.
Be responsible for patient care while performing imaging, to include accuracy of patient identification.
Be able to deal with emergent situations.
Maintain principle of ALARA.
Have the ability to teach House Staff or other personnel in the technical aspects of imaging equipment
Will see about 25+ patients a day.

Qualifications:
Must be AART Certified
Must be covid vaccinated
NY License required
