Title: Sr. Drafter/Designer

Location: Hybrid in El Cajon, CA

Pay: $45-47/hr

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Interview Process: One round on-site panel

Required Skills & Experience:

- 10+ years of experience in CAD drafting and design within a civil engineering environment. - Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Civil Site Design, or BricsCAD - Doing grading, utility profiling, Preparing grading and improvement plans, and construction documents - Drafting Annotation, layout of graded slopes, Retaining wall profiles, construction details, sheet set up - Experience drafting Drainage/water quality exhibits

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

-Experience with GIS and surveying techniques is a plus. -Familiarity with local San Diego design standards and regulations preferred.

Job Description:

An employer in the San Diego area is looking for a Senior-Level CAD Drafter/Designer with a strong background in Land Development to join our team Responsibilities: Create and revise detailed drawings for land development and infrastructure projects using. Assist in the design of grading and storm drain plans, erosion control, BMP plans, as well as roadway and wet utility plans. Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications. Participate in the preparation and review of technical reports and documentation. Help train and mentor entry-level staff under the guidance of our Principal Engineer and technology team.
