Reports to: Supervisor/ Manager FLSA: Non-exempt EEO: □ 01 Officials and Managers □ 02 Professionals X 03 Technicians □ 04 Sales Workers □ 05 Administrative Support Workers □ 06 Craft Workers □ 07 Operatives □ 08 Laborers and Helpers □ 09 Service Workers ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Safely navigates ambulance to patient's location. Provides stabilization of scene and requests additional assistance as necessary. Drag Edit Delete Determines nature and extent of illness or injury and patient's history from available sources. Administers emergency medical care within scope of practice, including patient stabilization, monitoring, and resuscitation, from the scene to receiving medical facility. Drag Edit Delete Contacts medical personnel, reports/records observations, and follows directives from supervising Physician or Registered Nurse. Drag Edit Delete Maintains equipment, restocks supplies and cleans ambulance as necessary. Minimum Education Successfully completed MDHHS approved Paramedic course Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
