Inventory Specialist Supply Chain & Logistics Hartford County, CT, US Pay Rate Low: 22 | Pay Rate High: 24 Added - 15/05/2024 Apply for Job Our client is seeking an Inventory Specialist to join their team. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for performing inventory analysis and ensure availability of chemicals. Location: Windsor Locks, CT Type: Contract-to-hire Pay: $22-$24 per hour Responsibilities Maintain a strong knowledge of products including but not limited to hardware, chemicals, tooling, and electric components, services, inventory systems, quality requirements, and customer plans and specifications Monitor production floor bins and storage cabinets to determine when replenishment of stock is required Perform inventory inspections and analysis Perform regularly scheduled reading and maintain matching units to the required standards in compliance with customer and regulatory standards Perform chemical additions to process tanks per written guidance Ensure availability and coordinate delivery of necessary chemicals Utilize hand scanners to scan stocking locations on the customer site and transmit replenishment orders for processing Receive and verify product and documentation to ensure accuracy of inventory required for the customer specifications and site Gather, deliver, and stock inventory storage cribs and fill bins/cabinets on the customer site Maintain communication with customer Production Floor Supervisors and Lead Persons to assist in new add part numbers, bin changes, and bin quantities with the On-Site Rep and/or Program Manager Able to travel as necessary between customer sites Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Required; college degree preferred Minimum 1-2 years of relevant inventory management, material handling, and production experience Minimum 1-2 years of experience pertaining to chemical Relative JIT, VMI, or 3PO experience within the aerospace industry required Excellent communication skills with direct customer contact experience INDBH We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
