Job Quick Facts Specialty: Cardiac Anesthesiology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Mason City, IA Service Setting: Inpatient Reason For Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Period: Apr 15, 2024 - Jan 3, 2025 Coverage Type: Clinical Only Shifts needed to be filled: - Apr 15-19 - Apr 29-May 3 - May 6-10, 13-17 - Jun 24-28 - Jul 1-5, 8-12 - Aug 5-9, 12-16 - Dec 23-27 - Dec 30 - Jan 3, 2025 Shift Schedule: - Mon-Wed-Fri; 6a-3p - Tue-Thurs; 7a-330p Patient Demographics: All Patient Volume: - Cardiac Surgeries; 1/day (not everyday) - General Cases: 5-7/day Physician in Practice: 5 Procedures: - General Surgical Cases; Adult, - Pediaric, Neonatal - Minor Nerve Blocks - IV Regional anesthesia - Spinal Anesthesia - Epidural Anesthesia - Regional Anesthesia - Obstetrical Cases - Neurosurgical Cases - Open Heart Anesthesia - Thoracic Cases (Except Open Heart) - Complex Vascular Cases (Except Open Heart) - Complex Orthopedic Cases - Acute pain management - Insertion of Central and Arterial Line No of OR: 8 Trauma Level: II EMR: Cerner, Paper Charting Other Info: - Must help cover general cases if no cardiac cases. - Must be able to read, interpret and bill for TEE procedures Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: Acive IA License or IMLC BC/BE in Cardiac Anesthesiology TEE Certified CSR DEA BLS, ACLS, PALS Cardiac Fellowship (highly preferred) COVID Vaccinated
