POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of a RN, provides a safe environment for confused, agitated and/or suicidal patients. Updates RN with timely information regarding status of patient in compliance with Patient Services Department policy and other regulatory agency requirements.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
High school diploma, GED, or Hi-Set required.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Bi-annual CPR certification preferred.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Successful completion of annual clinical and job specific competencies and skill verification tools required. Good interpersonal skills required. Ability to read written instruction and comprehend verbal instruction in English.
