Qualifications

First and foremost, the ability to project a friendly, courteous and helpful manner to residents, families, visitors and co-workers. Two years experience in most phases of building maintenance and experience in all trade areas such as: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, heating/air conditioning. Must have an in-depth and knowledge of at least one of these trades. Prefer HVAC certification. Must be willing to take calls, work overtime/weekends/different shifts and report to work timely as to limit service disruption to residents.

Candidate:
  • Will work one weekend day
  • Some over time may be required
  • Will complete general maintenance including plumbing, major appliance repair, HVAC maintenance, sheetrock repair and painting
  • Work in tight spaces such as attics and work on projects up to the 4th floor
  • Ladder, flat roof and balcony work will be required.
  • Change lightbulbs and make repairs to 2- story ceilings
