Cardiology Opportunity - Scranton, PA

Great Valley Cardiology, a division of Commonwealth Health, seeks a BE/BC Non-Invasive Cardiologist due to practice growth.
  • Advanced Imaging training with Cardiac CT/MRI is a plus.
  • Offering a very competitive salary and generous benefit package.
  • Call is approx 1:6.
  • Hospital features 3 state-of-the-art cath labs, one of which is a hybrid for TAVR and Watchman procedures.
Great Valley Cardiology has been proud to serve Scranton, PA and the surrounding communities for over 45 years. Group is a 10-person, single specialty group that currently consists of 3 Interventional Cardiologists, 3 Electrophysiologists and 4 Non-Invasive Cardiologists. Offering a full range of Cardiology services including in office stress testing, echocardiography and vascular ultrasound at main office and seeing patients at two satellite offices. They have a device management clinic and a Coumadin clinic. The hospital supports an Internal Medicine Residency Program and there are opportunities to teach Residents. The practice continues to grow and approx 150 new patients per week.

Northeastern Pennsylvania is uniquely positioned in the most convenient location of the entire Northeast Megalopolis. In this region of more than 50 million residents stretching from D.C. to Boston, NEPA sits strategically in the middle. Major cities like New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Hartford connect directly to Northeastern Pennsylvania along five interstate highways. The area is only a short drive, two hours, from New York City and Philadelphia and also includes Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport offering easy access to major hubs around the U.S. And aside from geographical evidence, there are dozens of multi-national corporations currently calling Northeastern Pennsylvania home that would gladly attest to the region s status as one of the top business hubs in the nation.
