Power Bi Developer

As a Power BI Report Developer, you'll be a self-starter with a passion for data, comfortable working with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, and maintain them in alignment with department governance standards. Your work will drive efficiencies and support key business decision-making through data-driven automation and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Demonstrate deep expertise in data, data models, database structures, and data behavior to design impactful reporting solutions.
* Operate autonomously, making informed decisions with limited oversight.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and assess requirements, then design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain sustainable reporting solutions.
* Create engaging and informative dashboards and reports using Power BI, applying appropriate chart types and visualizations to clearly convey insights.
* Identify and resolve performance issues in reports and dashboards by optimizing data queries, models, and refresh rates.
* Adhere to team methodologies, processes, standards, and documentation requirements.
* Contribute to SETF's Spark initiative by delivering innovative solutions across various technologies, recommending the best-fit tools for each project.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or equivalent professional experience.
* 10+ years of relevant experience, with SQL
* Expertise in Power BI, Power BI Report Builder, Power Platform, SAS Enterprise Guide, and other BI tools to create actionable business insights.
* Experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps), and SharePoint is preferred.
* Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse project teams.
* Highly analytical with strong problem-solving and design capabilities.
* Data modeling experience and Microsoft certifications are a plus.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Purview and/or Collibra is an advantage.
