Position Purpose:

The Software Tester will assess Enterprise software quality through manual testing and is responsible for work order setup of automated tests. The Software Tester is responsible for testing Enterprise software to ensure compliance with the test plan through the finding and reporting of bugs and usability issues.

Education & Experience:
  • High School Diploma required (some college preferred)
  • The ability to document and troubleshoot errors
Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
  • Follow software test plans for regression testing of each Enterprise software release
  • Evaluate automated testing results of Enterprise software requirements
  • Report Enterprise software bugs and errors to Software Engineering team
  • Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing of Enterprise software
  • Ensure that PCs and servers are patched monthly and tested against the latest Generally Available software versions
  • The ability to document and troubleshoot errors

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to sit for much of the workday with periodic walking and/or standing.
