Contract Paralegal

We are looking for a 100% remote Paralegal with experience in corporate law and real estate to join our team. Our practice is focused on transactional law, including private equity investments, corporate matters including drafting LLC documents, and commercial real estate, including commercial leasing. Our clients are high-net-worth individuals who expect concierge-level service from a small law practice. We have a small number of long-term clients. The candidate will ideally be on Hawaii, Pacific or Central time.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, revise, and proofread commercial real estate documents using the firm's templates including commercial leases and documents related to the purchase and sale of commercial real estate
• Draft corporate formation documents using the firm's templates, including limited liability company operating agreements
• Maintain and organize client files in our practice management system, Lawmatics
• Correspond with clients and third parties in a timely manner and follow up regarding their matters
• Carefully proofread all documents and correspondence

Qualifications:

• 3-5 Years of Experience as a Transactional Corporate Law paralegal or Transactional Real Estate Paralegal
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, and proficiency with Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, and other common office technology necessary to communicate with staff globally
• Background in using any major practice management software (with a preference for understanding Lawmatics)
• Superior proofreading skills
• Strong working familiarity with commercial leasing and complex real estate transactions
• Interest in working in a startup culture with the opportunity to create systems, policies, and procedures for the practice
