We are now accepting applications for the Clifton Springs Emergency Department (ED) Nurse Fellowship Program for December 2024 and May 2025 Graduates The emergency department can be exciting and exhilarating. At Rochester Regional, we have some of the busiest emergency departments in the state, outside of New York City. Our ED fellowships, available only to recent nursing graduates, give you the opportunity to experience this fast-paced environment and determine if it's right for you. The ED fellowship features: A full time, one-year commitment Six months of rotations on various units Six months exclusively in the Emergency Department Opportunity to work closely with and learn from experienced nurse preceptors Starts three times a year in March, August, and October (August grads) HOW WE CARE FOR YOU Sign On Bonus Relocation Assistance Medical, Dental & Vision Programs Tailored to Your Needs Retirement Savings Programs Personal Time that Includes Vacation Time, Sick Time & Holidays Tuition Assistance & Reimbursement Program Free ASN to BSN Program Through Advance U Student Loan Repayment Program Recognition of Professional Growth Through the Clinical Ladder Certification Pay Enhanced Shift Differentials Specialty Premium Pay Employee Referral Program with Bonuses up to $10k Same Day Pay Through DailyPay Free Parking Employee Discount Programs STATUS: Full time LOCATION: Clifton Springs DEPARTMENT: Various and Emergency Department SCHEDULE: Days/Evening/Nights; Weekends and holidays as required ATTRIBUTES Compassionate, warm and patient focused Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision Exceptional documentation skills and professional behavior Ability to work in a fast-paced environment RESPONSIBILITIES Patient Care & Service: Promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; performing various treatment procedures; providing physical, educational and emotional support to patients, friends and families; supervising assigned team members Planning & Communication: Develop and document individualized care plans customized for each patient's unique needs, with support from the interdisciplinary health team as needed; maintain effective communication to convey patient health status, treatment plans and progress Electronic Health Record (EHR) Management: Demonstrate proficient use of an EHR - including accurate patient and provider documentation and communication Compliance: Adhere to required department and system protocols, regulations (local, state, federal) and education requirement EDUCATION: AS: Nursing (Required) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA) RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED) PAY RANGE: $36.75 - $49.00 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
