Description: • Administered Cisco ISE to provide identity management for wired and wireless clients as well as TACACS authentication for network devices • Worked on the Network Access Control project implementing NAC enforcement on Cisco Meraki switches using Cisco ISE • Troubleshot Wi-Fi and authentication issues to identify root causes escalated from the Tier 1 help desk • Used Ekahau wireless tools to complete site surveys at airports, cargo sites and aircraft maintenance areas, providing designs and estimates for the Wi-Fi refresh project • Migrated over 900 Cisco 4800-series access points to the Cisco 9800 WLC platform at our corporate headquarters • Refreshed legacy Wi-Fi equipment at airports, cargo sites and aircraft maintenance areas across the country to Cisco Meraki to improve our user experience and bring our Wi-Fi network to cutting-edge standards • Utilized Python and API tools on our various platforms (Cisco ISE, Cisco Meraki Dashboard, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, AKiPS) to create automated tools that assisted our team in gathering and processing the necessary information to streamline our processes and reduce human error • Used my network engineering expertise to provide technical guidance and mentorship to other members of the Wi-Fi/ISE team and help create cross-functionality within our team • Collaborated with our Network Engineering team in a cross-functional manner by vertically integrating appropriate network engineering functions into the Wi-Fi/ISE team • Collaborated with our cybersecurity team by leveraging Nucleus to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities across our platforms (Cisco Catalyst and Aironet WLCs, Cisco ISE) Experience Level: Intermediate Level About TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
