Overview TRC is seeking a Senior Environmental Health and Safety Compliance Specialist for our growing Environmental Health and Safety team in Philadelphia, PA. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual and results-oriented leader who works with stakeholders to understand project needs and manages teams to deliver services to meet those requirements. The Senior Environmental Health and Safety Compliance Engineer/Specialist is responsible for networking with clients to identify and define projects, developing and negotiating proposals, building teams of technical staff and sub-consultants to execute work, maintaining quality and risk management processes to keep work on track, and delivering according to scope, schedule, and budget. Responsibilities EHS compliance assurance, EHS program and procedure development, EHS training, and project management. Support development and implementation of EHS Management Systems, compliance assessments and audits to ensure effective risk control and regulatory compliance. Perform and manage environmental compliance duties including, but not limited to: air permitting, SPCC planning, NPDES/storm water permitting and reporting, SWPPP, EPCRA Tier II and TRI reporting, wastewater permitting and hazardous waste storage/disposal. Provide compliance and regulatory support for multiple clients and facilities. Interface with regulatory agencies for permit development and compliance. Strong technical writing and data management, organizational and communication skills Prepare client deliverables Appropriately delegate project assignments to project teams and mentor junior staff. Experience to manage, and monitor project budgets, scopes, project deliverable quality, and schedules; demonstrate the ability to lead and manage compliance and site assessment projects. Experience in writing proposals and setting budget to clients Client relationship management and growth. Work with client account managers and account teams to meet client expectations and increase services provided to the client. Maintain a billable utilization target.
